The harvest season of barley and wheat is already starting in Hungary.
Autumn barley is already being harvested in the Southern counties of Hungary, an average yield of 4 tonnes per hectare is expected. It is harvested from an area of 200,000 hectares. If the weather is suitable, autumn wheat will be harvested from next week, an average of 5 tonnes on 980,000 hectares. Two million tonnes of wheat can be exported.
