Hungary spends HUF 80 bn this year to improve and modernize nurseries and preschools around the country, announced the Ministry for National Economy Thursday.
According to Mihaly Varga, Minister of National Economy the improving level of childcare in nurseries and preschools will help young mothers to go back to work and it will support families.
Hungary needs more nurseries and preschool places as well as improved level of various services in the given institutions. Mr Varga stated that there were big differences among the parts of Hungary regarding the level of infrastructure. “The given program aims to level off differences”, he said.
