Ministry for National Development signed a grant agreement worth HUF 667 billion for constructing 300 km of priority roads.
According to officials, Hungary’s aim to ensure transport infrastructure is able to promote competitiveness and vacancy creation. To do so, new expressway connections must be constructed in the next few years among county-level municipalities, as well as important economic areas that a still have to live without proper road connections.
“The Government will support the large-scale, dynamic expansion of the public road network from national funds as well”, said statement.
