Greece is meddling into the legal proceeding Hungary started against the mandatory refugee quota, and their action is "anti-Hungarian", János Lázár, the Minister heading the Prime Minister's Office told at his weekly press conference. He said that Greece wants to force migration upon Hungary. "We are not rejecting help, but if we help them here, they come here, if we help them there where the problem is, they stay there", he added.
The mandatory quota would significantly change Hungary and impact the life of all Hungarians, so they should have the possibility to decide about it, Lázár said about the planned quotareferendum. According to the Minister, those left wing parties which attack the referendum want to change Hungary's ethnic relations.
Lázár also mentioned that 50-100.000 people have left Transcarpathia because of the Ukrainian crisis, and many of them stay in Hungary for a shorter or longer period.
