According to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto, Hungary keeps Schengen Area law and, as it orders, Hungary saves the EU borders, whereas Greece “thumbs its nose” at the EU rules, letting unidentified members of the migration influx stepping into Europe.
Mr Szijjarto’s statement was an answer to the Greek PM’s declaration in the German paper, Bild, saying “we save fundamental European values”.
As an answer, Mr Szijjarto stated, that the European culture is about keeping the law and agreements, which were signed and agreed on mutually, by every member of the Schengen Area. “What kind of solidarity is that Greece sends into Europe thousands of illegal migrants every day?”, asks Peter Szijjarto in statement, adding that the EU’s future can’t be built with “aggressive people who attacks the police and bang fences”.
