Any solution in Syria is possible only if Washington and Moscow reaches an agreement, according to the Foreign Minister.
The hope for settlement in Syria has never been so strong since the start of the civil war, but a solution can be reached only when the US and Russia manages to agree, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto said at the meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels. He told a press conference that Donald Trump's pragmatic approach, the ceasefire in Syria and the peace conference in Astana all help the situation. Reacting to the next US president's remarks on NATO, Mr Szijjarto said that NATO should act strongly and more effectively against terrorism.
