Luxury-quality vinyl flooring enterprise inaugurated Thursday its new factory in Tatabanya. According to PM Viktor Orban the company has outgrown the European market.
Graboplast “has taken another step towards becoming a global enterprise”, said PM Orban, adding that the Hungarian government provided previously, three billion HUF to support the company’s development program. Graboplast has created 120 new jobs as a result.
Graboplast CEO Peter Jancso stated that the company manufactures has been used in some 1700 sports halls worldwide. Plus, Graboplast products can be found in underground trains, trams and electric trains worldwide, in cities like Shanghai, Rio and, of course, Budapest.
Omnidirectional homogeneous flooring will be produced in the new factory. Such flooring comprises a single layer of material and is extremely durable. Homogeneous flooring is primarily used in healthcare facilities and public buildings.
