Instead of giving money to migrants, the EU should focus on border control, analyst says.
It's only a political move by the French government to give 2500 euros to those immigrants who leave the country and move back to their homeland, says Nándor Gömbicz, analyst at the Nézőpont Intézet think tank. He explained on M1 news channel that 2500 euros is hardly enough for someone who gave up everything at home, and it's not even guaranteed that after one year they won't try coming back to Europe. The expert emphasised that the EU should focus on external border control and deportation of those whose asylum request was denied.
