The issue of migrants and refugees shouldn't be mixed and Germans are committing suicide by relying in immigration, says the parish president of the Hungarian Reformed Church Synod.
”If masses of people leave their homes, it's our Christian duty to remind the decision makers that the problem should be handled on the spot, and we should do all we can for that”, the parish president of the Hungarian Reformed Church Synod told the public television M1. According to István Bogárdi Szabó the most important question we should ask is why is there a war in those countries. He emphasised that the Reformed Church separates the issue of migrants and refugees and has always been asking others not to mix them.
Bogárdi Szabó said that he recently consulted representatives of the German Reformed Church, and the Germans think that it takes approximately 30 years for a new born German child to grow up, get a job and pay the taxes but for a recently arrived migrant it's only 3 years. ”This is miscalculation” and ”delayed suicide”, he explained, adding that even if it's possible to integrate a migrant in 3 years, with them comes their family too, usually 8-12 people.
