Good news for IT professionals as General Electric inaugurates its new development center in the capital and plans to hire 400 people.
American company General Electric inaugurated a Global Digital Development Center in Budapest on Friday. The company is planning to employ approximately 400 highly qualified IT personnel developing industrial internet solutions by 2017. Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto said at the event that GE is one of the best partners of the Hungarian government. ”The world is stepping to the era of data based digital industry and which country is not able to react to this very harsh change and act accordingly, will quickly lose its competitiveness”, Mr Szijjarto emphasied.
