Janos Ader joined the memorial events in Poznan with Andrzej Duda.
The Polish and Hungarian events in 1956 showed the weakness of the Communist power, and it was clear that their power will fall, Hungarian president Janos Ader said in Poznan after meeting his Polish counterpart, Andrzej Duda. Mr Ader visited Poznan for the 60th anniversary of the workers' uprising. He emphasised that freedom might be evident for us today, but this anniversary gives an opportunity to remember and be glad that all this is already history. Mr Ader added that there have been strong ties between the Polish and the Hungarian people for centuries but the events of 1956 brought them even closer.
