Good news for the customers of telecommunication companies in Hungary: free calls and data on Christmas.
Certain telecommunication services will be free during the Christmas period according to news agency MTI. Both the business and private customers of Magyar Telekom can call each other free of charge between December 24 and 26, while private customers of Telenor can use the mobile internet free of charge. According to Telenor's non-representative survey, 8 of 10 customers use social media for Christmas greetings, 7 of 10 makes a phone call and only every 4th person sends text messages. Vodafone also offers some free services during this period, their customers will be notified via sms.
