The first Lufthansa flight arrived from Munich in Debrecen Monday morning, giving the city the chance to be reached from four continents with only one change.
Lufthansa’s chief in Hungary Gabor Antal called the German airline new route a real “milestone”. He also added that the new flight route “puts Debrecen on the world atlas” as the city can be reached from four continents with only one change for so on.
Lufthansa will fly between Debrecen and Munich three times a week on the airline's summer timetable, it could change when winter comes.
