The 87th Festive Book Week has launched in Gyula. Hungary’s biggest book festival lasts from 9 June to 13 June.
The main events will take place at the Lion Fountain on Vorosmarty Square, Budapest, surrounding with book stand of more than 200 local and foreign publishing companies at the square and in the nearby streets.
Numerous new novels, memoirs, document books and copies of other genres, written by Hungarian writers, will be released especially for the even. Besides book discussions, dedications, visitors might enjoy concerts, puppet show and a street carnival, or they can simply join the discussions taking place on one of the stages.
