FX Share of State Debt Falling

It should be cut to 10 percent by 2020

Hungary's share of state debt denominated in foreign currency is contractually falling, and according Central Bank of Hungary Governor, it should be lowered to 10 percent by 2020.

The share of state debt denominated in foreign currency dropped to 31 percent by the end of 2015 and constantly falling, as it was 25 percent by the end of 2016. The Central Bank of Hungary will continue its loose monetary policy supporting the business environment to reach the Central Bank of Hungary Governor Gyorgy Matolcsy projected 10 percent by 2020.
