EU's external Schengen borders should be protected by joint European efforts and the deployment of European border and coast guards, said Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister Gyorgy Bakondi.
Mr. Bakondi said that the effectiveness of external border protection is determined by the weakest link. He added that according to studies, mass migration will continue from Asia and Africa, and it will happen with “unpredictable magnitude”.
