Europe can't cope alone with the migration crisis, it needs to develop a working relationship with Africa to prevent even more refugees to start their journey, said Peter Szijjarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade on Monday in the opening speech at the start of the two-day Budapest Africa Forum

“There are some 12.5 million refugees living in the Sub-Saharan region, who could potentially decide to come to Europe. We need a European-African collaboration that helps the economies of African countries to grow fast in order to make them an appealing alternative for people to stay", he added.
