Benjamin Netanyahu and the V4 heads of governments discussed the importance of cooperation between Israel and the European Union.
The prime ministers of the Visegrad Group and Israel agreed on establishing working groups against terrorism and to support technologic cooperation, Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán said after their meeting on Wednesday in Budapest. Mr. Orbán stressed that according to the V4 states the European Union must change its attitude towards Israel, and focus on cooperation rather than criticism, because Europe is punishing itself if it doesn't cooperate with Israel. He recalled that Israel and the V4 states agree that external border control is important for every nation and that uncontrolled migration increases the risk of terror. Mr. Orbán said they appreciate Israel's efforts to ensure stability in the region because it's in Europe's interest too.
