Foreign Minister Szijjártó spoke about the importance of integrating the Western Balkan and Montenegro's good example.
”The EU and NATO integration of the Western Balkan can be the guarantee for long-term stability and peace in the region”, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó told a joint conference with his Montenegrin counterpart, Srdjan Darmanovic on Friday. He stressed that we are running out of time, new conflicts are erupting in the region and the migration influx is constant from the south. Mr Szijjártó said that Montenegro is the proof that integration processes help stability, the country NATO accession process guaranteed that today we can count with Montenegro as a reliable partner. He emphasised that Hungary wants to speed up the process.
