First EasyJet flight from Lyon landed at the Liszt Ferenc International Airport, Budapest, Wednesday. According to the official presser the British low-cost airline's new route is a response to a “long-standing market demand”.

The new Lyon-Budapest route will be operated three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, as EasyJet's 6th route to Budapest and the second from France.
