The European Union’s goals on the migration issue must be clarified, said Gyorgy Bakondi, Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister Wednesday.
He said that these goals might include Europe protecting its own borders and ensuring the safety of its people, or letting in as many migrants as possible, and then distributing them. He said that Hungary’s view is that “lines of defense” are needed, including supporting countries of origin or transit countries, for example, Libya.
