The Hungarian Economy Minster Mihaly Varga met his Bulgarian colleague Bojidar Loukarski in Budapest to discuss developing regional cooperation, including a dual vocational education system.
According to Mr Varga, Hungary has been introducing innovative vocational education elements step by step. Since 2010, a series of large-scale measures has been implemented to tailor education. Bulgaria is about to recently introduce a similar system. So Bulgaria has proposed further talks regarding the topic.
As for economic relations, Mr Varga mentioned that the volume of Hungarian exports to Bulgaria grows up by more than 13 percent year-on-year and reached almost EUR 1bn last year. “It shows dynamic growth in bilateral economic relations”, he said.
