In order to decrease the security risk caused by mass immigration, the government initiated a new, stricter regulation.
The Hungarian government suggests several changes in order to re-establish the detention of asylum seekers, the Minister Heading the PM's Office, Janos Lazar told his weekly press conference. Migrants will be sent to detention centers close to the border while their asylum applications are pending. "They will be able to stay only in a place designated for them," Mr Lazar said. The new regulations will be implemented if the government declared a state of emergency of mass migration, which is active now. The Minister added that the government expects conflicts with the European Commission. According to Mr Lazar the new regulation will significantly decrease the security risk.
