The Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) mandated the Bank of China to issue yuan-denonimated bonds. Pricing and the size of the bond isssue will depend on market conditions.

The ÁKK held non-deal roadshow in Hong Kong and Singapore earlier this year to test the market. Although Hungary plans to finance most of its debt from foring-issues, this year the debt manager plans to issue €1 billion in FX bonds to be subscribed by international investors. This can be issued in euros, yuan or dollars.
