Hungarian dairy farmers got together in Budaors, a small town next to the Hungarian capital, to protest against the low buying price of milk and cheap milk imports.

They gathered outside a Tesco store in Budaors Thursday early morning with displaying their cows arrived from across the country. According to their statement, the price of raw milk continues to drop beyond a sustainable level. Currently, farmers get HUF 69 per liter while milks' manufacturing price exceeds HUF 100 per liter.

The demonstration was unannounced but the police made the necessary actions to authorize the event, said the police statement.
