The Hungarian Muslim community celebrated the 100th anniversary of Islam's official acknowledgment in Hungary.
Minister of Human Capacities Zoltan Balog stated at the celebration event that Europe had to be in conversation with Islam but it needed partners to do that. “We're at war, not with the Islam as a religion, a culture or a community, but with people who wants to invade Europe, change it forever, standing on the feet of Muslim communities, stealing from them, all in the name of Islam”, said Mr Balog.
United Stated Ambassador to Hungary, Colleen Bell added that “people who committed cowardly murders represents 1.6 bn Muslims of the world exactly the same as rotten apples represents all apples”.
