The European integration of the Western Balkans is crucial for Hungary's security policy interests, the speaker of the Hungarian parliament told his counterpart from Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Mladen Bosic, speaker of the parliament in Bosnia-Herzegovina visited Budapest on Tuesday and met both his Hungarian counterpart László Kövér and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó. Mr Kövér told a press conference that European integration cannot be complete until there are countries in the Western Balkans which are not full members. Integration is also key for solving internal problems of Bosnia-Herzegovina, he added. Mr Bosic said that they appreciate Hungary's support and that there are no unsolved issues between the two countries, however there is room for improvement regarding economic relations.
