The Minister of Agriculture stressed the importance of the sector in export and employment at an expo in Budapest.
The Hungarian agriculture is constantly expanding since 2010, by 55 percents in six years, the Minister of Agriculture, Sandor Fazekas said at the opening ceremony of the 35th AGROmashEXPO in Budapest. He emphasised that the advanced of technology is one of the key factors of the agriculture's success. According to the latest GDP data agriculture contributed to the growth by 21.4 percents. Mr Fazekas added that agriculture's importance is constantly growing in export and employment, in the last five years it created 50.000 new jobs.
