The language of culture is something the Chinese and the Hungarian people have in common, Minister Zoltán Balog stressed in the openingn speech of the Chinese Film Festival.
The Chinese Film Festival opened in Budapest’s Uránia National Film Theatre on Sunday, where guest of honour Oscar-winning martial arts expert and film star Jackie Chan met Minister of Human Capacities Zoltán Balog. Mr. Balog stressed “The Chinese and the Hungarians, the Chinese and the Europeans, have a common language, and this common language is none other than the language of culture, which we would like to speak as often as possible and with increasing loudness”.
Within the framework of the Chinese Film Festival, the public will be able to view four successful contemporary Chinese movies in the Uránia National Film Theatre until 29 April.
