After fourteen years, the National Bank payed the state dividend again, thanks to outstanding profit last year.
Following the decision of the Board of Directors at the end of April, the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) has transferred 50 billion Forints dividend to the state budget, the central bank said in a statement on Wednesday. The last time the MNB was able to pay the state dividend was in 2002, the record transfer was made possible by an outstanding 95 billion Forints profit posted in 2015.
