According to officials, Bulgaria shares Hungary's views regarding border control.
“Illegal mass migration must be stopped”, said Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister Gyorgy Bakondi commenting on PM Orban's recent visit in the Balkans. He also added that Hungary and Bulgaria represents a similar position concerning the EU migration crisis management.
“It must be solved before potentially allowing controlled migration to take place”, he said, adding that stopping migrants could be actually, a “more human solution” than letting them walking through Europe and sending them back to the starting point.
