Minister of National Economy Mihály Varga submitted next year's budget to Parliament.
Mihály Varga said that in the budget provides opportunity for everyone to take one step forward. Next year's budget will be that of tax reductions home development, he said. Pensions will rise with projected rate of inflatin, which will be enought to preserve their buying power power. The government targets 3.1% growth and 2.4% budget deficit in 2017. There is HUF327 billion funding earmarked for eduction and HUF 167 billion for the health sector and HUF 66 billion more for culture. Defence spending is seen going up by HUF 51 billion.
