Thanks to overall favourable fiscal processes throughout the year, budget deficit-to-GDP ratio may be as low as 2.4 percent, announced Minister for National Economy Mihaly Varga at his conomic committee hearing.
According to Mr Varga, Hungary was able to conduct successful economic and consolidation processes. Economic growth reportedly reached 3.7 percent in 2014 and was expected around 3 percent in 2015. Plus, thanks to the given processes, the budget deficit-to-GDP ratio might show an even flattering picture being as low as 2.4 percent.
