Brussels must respect people’s wishes, said Tuesday Secretary of State for Government Communication Bence Tuzson.
According to Mr Tuzson, recent experience shows that a successful referendum on an issue of great importance is able to put the brakes on the European Union’s decision-making system. The European Commission has already launched the process of introducing a quota system with no upper limit on numbers, so now the question is “whether we are able to stop it somewhere at a national level”.
