Bridgestone has doubled the area of its Tatabanya plant to 147,000 square meters.
The project is part of the Japanese tire company’s HUF 85 bln investment program that will be ended in 2020. By then the plant will quadruple its output to 7.2 mln tires a year and will employ 920 people. It currently makes almost 2 mln tires a year by 800 employees.
