Good education system and quality of infrastructure are among the reasons why BlackRock has chosen Budapest for its new innovation center.
A US based investment management company is to set up an innovation center in Budapest, the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjarto announced, adding that BlackRock creates 500 jobs. The innovation center will deal with product development, management of client data and creative marketing. Patrick Olson, the company's director told a press conference that BlackRock picked Budapest because of the local education system, the quality of the infrastructure, the security, the quality of life and the government's commitment to endeavour.
