There are important reserves for the food industry in South-Eastern Hungary according to Minister Lazar.
”Thanks to their agricultural and food industry possibilities and workforce reserves the regions of the Southern Great Plain (Dél-Alföld) mean the reserves of the Hungarian economy”, the Minister Heading the PM's Office, Janos Lazar said at an event in Bekescsaba. He added that the South-Eastern regions of Hungary are considered to be lagging behind, but they are reserves for our competitiveness. Mr. Lazar said that it will be a strategic question that what kind of possibilities will be created for the food industry by taking into account the EU rules.
