According to the Hungarian PM Viktor Orban, there is a big potential in cooperation between Hungary and Azerbaijan, that means both a challenge and an enormous opportunity. Mr Orban leads the Hungarian delegation on a state visit in Azerbaijan.
PM Orban met President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the presidential palace close to Baku. They discussed bilateral relations in different areas, including political and economic issues. They agreed on the importance of expanding Hungarian-Azerbaijani relations.
After one-on-one meeting PM Orban said at his press conference, that Hungary recognizes Azerbaijan's efforts to react new economic situation caused by oil price changes. He added that Hungary could be a good partner in adapting to the new situation if its knowledge in the fields of agriculture, IT and energetics is used well.
President Aliyev stated that Hungary was a close friend to Azerbaijan and the two countries had strategic relations.
