Hungary first and foremost aims to guarantee the security of the Hungarians, and that is the base of the government's actions, stated Minister of Defense Istvan Simicsko Friday explaining a new addition to the Hungarian constitution.
The proposed bill will ensure that the defense forces could also be used to guarantee the security of Hungary and take part in the fight against terrorism.
Currently, the level of this threat is “not so high”, but at the same time, “such emergencies must be prevented”, he added.
