Hungary's Digital Theme Week ended Tuesday in 758 schools. The program was a “surprise success” as officials said.
The Hungarian schoolchildren must be digitally literal as it's a condition of economic competitiveness, sated officials at the Theme Week closing event. Organizers quoted the world-known Hungarian physicist, Ede Teller's worlds, that “who can't handle computers, will be called an illiterate in the 21th century”.
Digital Theme Week was attended by 75000 schoolchildren throughout the country as 5500 teachers offer 1900 programs in 758 schools.
