It's the responsibility of lay people like politicians, economic players, academics, artists to shape life in the spirit of the gospel, Cardinal Peter Erdo, Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest, said in his Easter interview on M1, MTI reports.
"We must convey the love of God to the people," Peter Erdo said, adding that "God, who in his wisdom created man, wants us to be happy". He said it's necessary to enshrine Christianity as well as "our Greco-Roman heritage" in the European basic documents.
