Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban held a speech at the consecration of a Reformed church in Budapest's 20th district on Sunday.
Many, today, question or openly reject the notion that Europe's fate is intertwined with Christianity, "but we Hungarians believe that Christian culture...is the cornerstone that holds the architecture of European civilisation in place", Orban said according to MTI.
Christian culture is the source of all strength, he said, adding that "without Christian culture there is no freedom and no European life".
