Prime Minister Viktor Orban received CEO of Deutsche Telekom Timotheus Höttges, European director Srini Gopalan, and CEO of Magyar Telekom Tibor Rekasi on Friday, Kormany.hu reports.
Höttges said that Magyar Telekom continues to be committed to digital development in Hungary and is playing an important role in building up-to-date mobile and landline infrastructure, according to the government’s website.
The parties agreed that a crucial factor for Hungary's future is the extent to which it can make use of the opportunities offered by digitalisation.
