The extreme cold weather continues in Hungary with a record breaking Sunday morning.

The Hungarian Meteorological Service registered -28.1 degrees in Tesa, a village in Pest county, Sunday early morning. Such data broke the 32 years old record of -26.6C registered in Romhany in 1985.

Officials warned Hungarians to prepare for more extreme weather conditions.
