The ruling Fidesz party's parliamentary group leader, Mate Kocsis urged the government to declare intention to carry on legislating in connection with the "Stop Soros" bill, MTI reported on Friday.

The Hungarian news agency reminds that the government submitted in February to parliament a package of bills referred to as Stop Soros before the parliamentary elections on April 8. The "Stop Soros" bill seeks to sanction NGOs supporting migration.

Kocsis told MTI that he called for the legislation considering the issue's border protection and illegal migration aspects.
