Trocsanyi discusses migration in Marrakesh

Border protection is priority, ministers agree

The Hungarian and Moroccan justice ministers held talks on migration policy and the importance of border controls in Marrakesh, Morocco, reports.

In a statement to Hungarian news agency MTI on Tuesday, Minister of Justice Laszlo Trocsanyi said that on Sunday and Monday he had attended the international conference on the independence of the judiciary in Marrakesh, on the sidelines of which he had held several bilateral meetings.

The Minister informed his Moroccan counterpart with relation to Hungarian migration policy and the importance of border controls, and about the fact that handling migration is one of the basic elements of national sovereignty.
